Jaden Lander has completed his first Hoosier Series event of the year in his home state of New York at Watkins Glen International over the June 4th weekend. For this event, Lander was competing in a Mazda Mx5 under the Krugspeed Racing banner.
Lander started the race third and was part of a significant three-car battle for the final spot on the podium throughout most of the race. After initially losing two places, Lander saw himself continuously trading positions with the two cars that passed him until the final two laps, when he was able to make his moves stick and secure his spot on the podium.
Lander will now see his focus shift to GT4 throughout the summer with events coming up at Road America, Sebring, and VIR. His next Hoosier Super Tour event will be the SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Virginia International Raceway from September 25th to October 2nd.
