Weekend Sweep At Road America

Road America

After a double victory at Road America, it is back-to-back winning weekends for Jaden Lander and the Rotek Racing team. Lander and teammate Robb Holland won both races this past weekend at Road America to sweep the weekend and continue their hot streak.

The weekend began with rain during practice, which led the team to strategically decide to limit running the cars as the forecast for the rest of the weekend was clear. Qualifying went great for Lander and Holland as they qualified their No. 99 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 on pole for race one as P2 for race two.

In the weekend’s first race, Holland started behind the wheel before turning the car over to Lander while in second place. Lander then just needed to keep within 3 seconds of the leader to secure the win, as the No. 36 car in front was penalized for a pit lane speed violation. When the cars crossed the line, Lander had done enough to maintain the gap needed to win and be on the podium’s top step.

Race two began with Lander behind the wheel. He maintained his position throughout his entire stint and handed over the car to Holland in second. Holland was then able to pass for the lead and bring the car across the finish line in first, completing a weekend sweep for the team.

“What an awesome weekend! Rotek Racing swept the weekend, and now we are on a three-race winning streak! Big thank you to everyone, and let’s keep this streak alive and win this championship!”

Lander and the Rotek Racing Team now head to Barber Motorsports Park for the penultimate race on the GT4 calendar. The team will look to add to their streak of three straight victories and move closer to a championship.
